Guidance through the patent filing process for your invention.
ZegalWorks guides you through patentability, filing and examination, so you understand each stage and decision before you commit.
What is Patent Filing Assistance?
A patent gives the inventor exclusive rights over a new invention for up to 20 years, in exchange for disclosing it publicly. In India, patents are granted under the Patents Act, 1970, and an invention must be new, involve an inventive step and be capable of industrial application.
Not everything qualifies. For example, computer programs as such and mere business methods are not patentable, which matters to many software startups. We help you assess this honestly before you spend on drafting and filing.

Something else may suit you better if
Your idea is a brand, not an invention. See trademark registration.
Your work is creative or software code. See copyright registration.
You have already publicly disclosed the invention. Talk to us at once, since novelty may be affected.
