What is Employment Contracts?

An employment contract, or appointment letter, sets the terms on which someone works for you: role, pay, probation, working hours, leave, notice period, confidentiality and termination. A clear one reduces disputes and is the base for payroll, PF, ESI and other statutory registrations.

It also assigns intellectual property created in the job to the company and protects confidential information. Terms must stay within labour laws and state shops and establishments rules, so generic templates often fall short.

Timeline & cost

How long it takes and what it costs

1–3working days, typically, for a standard employment contract.

Actual timing depends on how quickly documents are ready and on the processing time of the authority involved.

Your total cost has two parts: our professional fee, and any government or statutory fees that apply. Government fees are set by the authority and vary by case, so we give you an itemised quote before you commit to anything. See our pricing page for packages.
