What is PF & ESI Registration?

The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and the Employees' State Insurance (ESI) are two key social-security schemes for employees. PF builds a retirement fund through contributions from both employer and employee, while ESI provides medical and cash benefits to eligible employees.

PF generally applies to establishments with 20 or more employees, and ESI generally to those with 10 or more, with wage limits for eligibility. Smaller businesses can often register voluntarily. Once registered, monthly contributions and returns are due, usually by the 15th of the following month.

Timeline & cost

How long it takes and what it costs

A few daysto a couple of weeks, typically, depending on the portals and document readiness.

Actual timing depends on how quickly documents are ready and on the processing time of the authority involved.

Your total cost has two parts: our professional fee, and any government or statutory fees that apply. Government fees are set by the authority and vary by case, so we give you an itemised quote before you commit to anything. See our pricing page for packages.
